| ive been thinking lately....i dont have near enough sympathy and compassion for the victims of hurricane katrina. i dont really know why i feel this way. i want to feel differently, but to tell you the truth my heart has been somewhat cold towards it. so today during worship at church i was praying and all of a sudden these words came to mind, "For I was hungry and you didn't feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn't give me anything to drink. I was a stranger, and you didn't invite me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me no clothing...I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me." wow. who am i to do nothing. as i reject helping those in need, i reject my Savior who died for me. what a testimony. man am i selfish. | | |
| it was way fun seeing all my friends this weekend.. but like old times no one really hung out after the game. ryan finally came to church w/ us sunday and worship was awesome!!! im pretty excited b/c me and rachel are probably gonna go to spend the night w/ natalie and brittni at their dorm on wednesday!!yay! i think on friday some people are gonna go to CFNI's night of worship so if you wanna go! its gonna be good. sunday we finally get to hear our new pastor speak so thatll be different but i think everyone is pretty excited. i cant wait for the weekend b/c thats when everyone comes home...ryan,jessica,natalie! tomorrow i start my new job at a doctors office at baylor garland and im not too excited about it but at least ill be makin the moolah. well anywho thats pretty much all thats happenin w/ me this week so bye | | |
| so its been a week and a half and my throat's still sore so i dont know what thats about but it doesnt matter b/c now sore throatness is normal to me. i dont even really notice it anymore. so college starts in 2 days and i dont wanna go at all .. partly b/c i dont have a vehicle yet (i need one by tomorrow if anyone knows of any available options) i am maybe gonna buy a '99 chevy malibu from 45ish year old larry who wears black and yellow skull ballooned out pajama pants and has his name tattooed in cursive on his left pectoral muscle.. yeah thats what he was wearing when i came to see the car.. pretty impressive.. but anywho church is tomorrow and i cant wait.im really ready for worship.. i love it! well im off to bed.. i love you all and goodnight | | |
| my throat is sore and i should be in bed but instead im still up with jessica scrapbooking till all hours of the morning.. thats right, we're hardcore.the weird part about the sore throat thing is that jess has one too and there definitely has been no kissing action going on.. not even shared drink or lip gloss so it remains a mystery.. but anywho looking at really old pictures is the most hilarious thing to do.we were all pretty raunchy lookin back in the day(and yes raunchy is the only word to describe it and you would most definitely agree w/ me if you were unfortunate enough to see them).... so all of you should probably try diggin up some old pictures and some memories along with it and for all you boys who dont take pictures... well you should have | | |
| i dont like this everyone goin to college thing b/c all my friends are gone it seems like. well either theyre in college already or on vacation. i feel like a loser :) today was my last day to work at lifetime fitness probably forever and IM SOOO GLAD! even the way that place smells makes me sick. so i hear there are a bunch of people goin to quad c but i dont know who these people are so if ur one holla! sorry ive always wanted to say that :) well i gotta go run b/c ive been slacking all summer byebye! | | |
